Blower Door Testing

Under the 2021 Virginia Residential Building Code, blower door testing is required for all new residential construction. Code stipulates that the building unit shall have an air leakage rate not exceeding 5 air changes per hour at a pressure of 50 Pa. We offer comprehensive testing with same-day reports to help keep your project timeline moving in the right direction.

Duct Leakage Testing

Under the 2021 Virginia Residential Building Code, duct leakage testing is required for all new residential construction. Code stipulates that the total leakage of the ducts shall be less than or equal to 4.0 cubic feet per minute per 100 square feet of conditioned floor area. We offer both post-construction and rough-in Duct blast testing.

We provide certified blower door testing for building contractors in Southwest Virginia, covering the Town of Blacksburg, Town of Christiansburg, City of Radford, Montgomery County, Giles County, Franklin County, Botetourt County, and Floyd County. After testing, we will prepare a report with the results and email it to the relevant county officials on the same day. Contact us for pricing information.
