Blower Door Testing

Under the 2021 Virginia Residential Building Code, blower door testing is required for all new residential construction. Code stipulates that the building unit shall have an air leakage rate not exceeding 5 air changes per hour at a pressure of 50 Pa.

Duct Leakage Testing

Under the 2021 Virginia Residential Building Code, duct leakage testing is required for all new residential construction. Code stipulates that the total leakage of the ducts shall be less than or equal to 4.0 cubic feet per minute per 100 square feet of conditioned floor area.

We provide certified blower door testing for building contractors in Southwest Virginia, covering the Town of Blacksburg, Town of Christiansburg, City of Radford, Montgomery County, Giles County, Franklin County, Botetourt County, and Floyd County.
