Infrared Scan

An Infrared Scan is used to detect thermal defects (insulation issues), and air leakage in your house, that are not visible to the naked eye, by measuring surface temperatures. A Certified Home Energy Auditor will use this tool for many tasks, but almost always during a Blower Door Test, because of its ability to quickly detect air leaks. It is also useful for pinpointing insulation voids, water leaks, 'hot' electrical wiring and plumbing pipes, and much, much more.
